About Zambia forestry College

Zambia Forestry College (ZFC) was established in
1949 as a training division of the Forestry Department

training two streams of Foresters at Diploma and Cer-
tificate levels. The college falls under the Ministry of Lands, Natural
Resources and Environmental Protection (MLNREP)
of the Government of the Republic of Zambia. The

college offers full time Natural Resource based pro-
grammes at Diploma levels of education that run for

three (3) years.
